My passion for a plant-based lifestyle started at a young age. Growing up in a vegetarian household, my mom taught me how to make easy meat-free meals. My interest grew after college while living in Sydney, Australia.

I learned about the live cattle trade and the cruelty involved. I stopped eating meat immediately and gradually removed animal products from my life. I moved back to California to attend Loma Linda, where I completed my Master's in Public Health, Nutrition, and Dietetics in 2013. In 2015, I started my Chicago-based practice, working with private and corporate clients.

When my sister shared she was expecting her first baby in 2020, I noticed most pregnancy nutrition information centered on animal products. As a dietitian and a vegan nutrition coach, I knew that a healthy vegan pregnancy was possible without eating animals. So I developed a group coaching program that evolved into The Healthy Vegan Pregnancy Program. Today, I've helped dozens of women meet their nutrient needs for a healthy vegan pregnancy without sacrificing their values. You can too!
